The Office of Academic Support of Inclusive Excellence’s SMART Conversations series continues on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 with Ms. Edith Herszenson Pump, University of Wisconsin Oshkosh class of 1965.

Join us for a heartfelt conversation about Edith’s journey as a Jewish student at UW Oshkosh and the challenges she faced. Author David Richo says “Our wounds are often the openings into the best and most beautiful part of us.” Edith has a compelling history but there is so much more to celebrate about this amazing educator and how her experiences at UW Oshkosh shaped her career as a teacher in the Milwaukee Public Schools.

The event will begin with a reception at 4 p.m. followed by Edith’s discussion at 5:15 p.m. in the Alumni Welcome Conference Center, Room 140C.
