Barbara Beuscher HeadshotBarbara Beuscher has been selected as the Associate Vice Chancellor for Development within the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh Foundation. Beuscher assumes her position June 6, 2016.

Beuscher has been a long-standing member of the UW Oshkosh community having served as the Director of Development for the College of Letters and Science at UW Oshkosh since 2007.

“It is a privilege to serve in this leadership role at my alma mater.” Beuscher said. “This is an exciting and challenging time for UW Oshkosh and the UWO Foundation, and I’m excited to bring additional vision to our fundraising efforts. I look forward to leveraging our donors to their full philanthropic potential, bringing critically needed resources to our campus.”

Before UW Oshkosh, Beuscher served as Executive Director of Development and Alumni Relations at Marian University. She was the chief development officer where she managed an Annual Fund, capital campaign and oversaw the Advancement staff. Beuscher previously served in key fundraising roles at Ripon College and a prior engagement with the UW Oshkosh College of Letters and Science.

“Barbara has a long career in higher education and at UW Oshkosh,” Vice Chancellor of Advancement and Foundation President Art Rathjen said. “She has a demonstrated ability to build relationships, a passion for this institution and I’m excited to have her join the leadership team.”

Beuscher has a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from UW Oshkosh and was recently awarded the Chancellor’s Scholarship for the UW Oshkosh Executive MBA path.

The Associate Vice Chancellor for Development will report to the Vice Chancellor of Advancement and Foundation President.
