Grandparents University is a unique opportunity for children and grandparents to communicate, discover and learn together this summer at UW Oshkosh.

The popular UW-Madison Grandparents University program comes to UW Oshkosh July 13 and 14. Grandparents and their grandchildren ages 8–12 are invited to have fun and learn while spending two days and one night on the UWO campus.

Enjoy exciting group activities and wonderful opportunities to make memories by focusing on one of the exciting three majors.

Culinary Champions

The culinary champions major will feature Chef Alex from Zuppas and Chef Ashley from The Pastry Pixie Bakery and Cafe. They will teach kitchen skills, techniques and cake decorating. This major will conclude with a cake decorating competition.

CulinaryChampionsSmallAnimal Adventures

The animal adventures major will feature a visit to a veterinary clinic and a behind-the-scenes look at caring for and feeding animals at the zoo.

Spectacular Science

The spectacular science major will offer the opportunity to conduct exciting and hands-on science experiments. Learn about careers in science, and see how science impacts the world around us.

Participants will spend the night in the newly built Horizon Village residence hall and will dine at Blackhawk Commons.
