More than 150 members of the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh University Staff will participate in professional development opportunities–on campus and within the greater Oshkosh community–May 31.

This year is the 17th year University Staff members at UW Oshkosh will convene to participate in University Staff Professional Development Day (USPDD).

This year’s activities will take participants off campus to two community nonprofit organizations–Habitat for Humanity of Oshkosh and the Oshkosh Area Community Pantry. On campus, University Staff members will participate in activities that include planting around campus and at an alteration station at the Career Closet.

Additionally, staff members will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of sessions and activities to learn about new skills and about new topics.

“This event is an excellent example of the support and opportunity our University community provides to employees at UW Oshkosh,” Sue Jaeke, University Staff Senate President, said. “This year the USPDD planning committee has shifted the focus to professional development while still leaving time for engaging activities for staff.”
