Five Henan Normal University administrators toured the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh last week.

Chang Junbiao, president of Henan Normal University in Xinxiang, China, met with UW Oshkosh Chancellor Andrew Leavitt to formalize a new partnership between the universities. The two found even more common ground in their shared background in chemistry.

Earlier this year, Junbiao and  Leavitt signed a cooperation agreement.

The university partners discussed future collaborative opportunities and toured the UW Oshkosh campus and the electrical engineering and chemistry laboratories. Henan Normal University guests expressed their appreciation for how approachable and welcoming UW Oshkosh administrators and faculty members were during their visit.

Introductions between these new partners were originally made by Justin Manners who currently works in China and has Wisconsin roots.
