For the past 13 years I have been the advancement director for the College of Education and Human Services (COEHS) here at UWO. I continue to work with COEHS; however, as of October 2017, I also oversee College of Nursing (CON) fundraising activities as we transition through change.

Since I began helping CON I have met several amazing, generous and passionate alumni, donors, faculty, staff and students. As I meet more and more people every day, a common theme among everyone is the desire to help the College and our students grow and thrive as we move into the future.

With your generosity we were able to give 100 nursing scholarships in 2017-2018, totaling $148,000. So far for 2018-2019, 63 awards have been committed, totaling $106,250, with
many more that will be awarded throughout the year. Our goal is to give $175,000 in scholarships to nursing students this year.

Donations are being accepted for scholarships, our endowed professorship and the dean’s discretionary funds. An envelope is provided in this publication for those who are interested in continuing to support CON. You also can contact me directly at (920) 424-3165 or condonations@uwosh.edu if you would like more information.

On behalf of CON and our students, I would like to thank you, our alumni and friends, for your continued support during this past year. The student scholarships that we award each year are not possible without the generosity of people like you. The financial support is critical to ensure that the dream of being a nurse remains a possibility for all students.

Thank you for your support in 2017
