The Fond du Lac Chamber Singers concert “Canticle” originally scheduled for Friday, Feb. 21, has been rescheduled for Friday, Mar. 7, at the same time and location – 7:30 p.m. at St. Paul’s Cathedral, 51 W. Division Street, Fond du Lac.

The featured selection is “Canticle of the Sun” by Jean Berger which is based on the poem by St. Francis of Assisi and is accompanied by viola. A diverse selection from choral literature will be performed by the group including selections from Brahms, Faure and Morten Lauridsen.

They will also perform “Alleluia” by Paul Basler, a Milwaukee native who has written compositions that have a world music quality.

The Fond du Lac Chamber Singers is in residence at UW-Fond du Lac. The auditioned ensemble includes students and area community members and is directed by Cara Davis.
