Melissa (Missy) Motl has joined the UW-Fond du Lac campus as academic librarian. She will be responsible for managing the university’s collection, providing classroom instruction on topics related to use of the library, guiding students through the research process and helping faculty to identify resources for use in the classroom and for their own academic research.

Motl was previously the circulation coordinator in the library at Augsburg College in Minneapolis, Minn. She spent two years in AmeriCorps as a youth development assistant and tutor. Motl earned a Master of Library Science (MLS) degree from UW-Milwaukee.
