UW-Fond du Lac students Jessica Scheel, North Fond du Lac, and Christina Behlke, Fond du Lac, have been nominated for a Jack Kent Cooke Foundation national scholarship.

These undergraduate transfer scholarships honor excellence by supporting students at a two-year school with financial need to transfer to and complete their bachelor’s degree at a four year university.

Scheel and Behlke were selected as two of the four student nominations submitted by the UW Colleges, the thirteen freshman/sophomore transfer schools of the University of Wisconsin System.

The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation provides up to $30,000 per year to each of approximately 50 students selected annually, making it the largest private scholarship for two-year students in the country.
