The National Exchange Bank Foundation, Inc. presented an award of $50,000 on Monday February 19, 2018 to the University of Wisconsin-Fond du Lac Foundation, Inc. to establish an endowed fund to support scholarships for low to moderate income students attending the UW-Fond du Lac.National Exchange Bank sign

National Exchange Bank Foundation Inc., originally founded as the Stone Foundation, Inc., is a private philanthropic family foundation created by the family ownership of National Exchange Bank & Trust. The Foundation supports projects, scholarships and charitable organization initiatives that demonstrate a positive impact to communities.  It has a particular focus on supporting organizations that assist youth and those that provide services to fulfill basic human needs including community food pantries and action agencies.

 “Today marks the beginning of another wonderful opportunity to assists students with financial need to achieve a quality education through the University of Wisconsin – Fond du Lac!” Said Tom Perry, Executive Director of the UW- FDL Foundation. “The UW – Fond du Lac Foundation is proud and honored to accept this generous gift from the National Exchange Bank Foundation, Inc. which will be utilized to fund a scholarship endowment named in honor of the National Exchange Bank Foundation.”

The mission of the University of Wisconsin-Fond du Lac Foundation, Inc. is to promote excellence at UW-Fond du Lac while enhancing the educational and cultural activities available on its campus. UW-Fond du Lac Foundation, Inc. is the official fund-raising and gift-receiving organization for UW-Fond du Lac.
