Transferring student secure financial aid to UW Madison’s School of Business

Menasha, Wis. (Aug. 4, 2015) – University of Wisconsin-Fox Valley is proud to announce that student Samuel Erickson has been awarded this year’s UW Colleges Nicholas Scholarship. The scholarship is specifically for students who are transferring to UW-Madison School of Business and are looking for extra educational funding for the 2015-16 academic year.

The Nicholas Scholarship was established by former University of Wisconsin Regent Ab Nicholas, crafted specifically for UW Colleges students, and awards students a minimum of $2,500. Students pursing this award must have completed two years at any of the 13 UW Colleges and have completed 54 credits by the end of the spring semester.

In addition, students must meet the pre-business course requirements, demonstrate financial need, obtain a letter of recommendation from the UW College Campus CEO/Dean and complete a 500-word essay.

“We’re proud of this collaboration with UW Madison School of Business and the financial support it gives UWFox students,” said Martin Rudd, CEO and campus dean at UW-Fox Valley. “Our main commitment is to provide these students with a solid foundation they can build on for promising careers after leaving UWFox.”
