Menasha, Wis. (Nov. 9, 2015) – University of Wisconsin – Fox Valley students have the opportunity to travel to Dalkeith, Scotland, as part of the UW Colleges Interdisciplinary Studies program, in Summer 2016. Students gain experience in photography and a bit of physics in a three-credit hands-on accelerated course, “The Art and Science of Photography.”

Dr. John Beaver leads the course with more than 20 years of professional experience in teaching physical sciences and a highly respectable résumé as an art photographer. The course requires no prior photography knowledge and will challenge students to make the point of connection between physics and photography.

Building a useful foundation of photography while traveling through the rolling hills of Scotland, UWFox students will develop a deep appreciation for Scottish history, physics and photography with help of an award-winning teacher.
