The latest issue of CONtact magazine highlights the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh College of Nursing’s (CON) robust traditional undergraduate program. For more than 50 years CON has led Wisconsin’s nursing workforce development and is currently the second-largest producer of baccalaureate-prepared nurses in the state.

“Our professors actually care. They know our names and where we’re from,” said Katie Sullivan BSN ’18, of Hortonville. “They want us to be prepared for the real world.”

CON prepares students by offering state-of-the-art clinical simulation technologies, interdisciplinary research opportunities and several nursing student organizations for networking and professional development.

The 2018 issue of CONtact also features the 25th-annual Nightingale Awards, the Rosemary Smith Endowed Professorship and more.
