The University of Wisconsin-Fond du Lac Foundation has scholarship funding available for late summer applicants planning to attend UW-Fond du Lac, a campus of the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, this fall. The deadline for scholarship applications is Monday, Aug. 19.

Nearly $50,000 has already been awarded to previously registered students for the 2019-2020 academic year. More information and applications available online.

An additional opportunity is available to help UW-Fond du Lac students pay for books.

Berger Book Bag grant applications are being accepted through Aug. 1. Available to incoming and continuing UW-Fond du Lac students, selected recipients can receive up to $300 to purchase textbooks and class supplies for the fall 2019 semester. The sole criterion of eligibility for the grant money is financial need.

Berger Book Bag is a fund administered by the UW-Fond du Lac Foundation that provides financial assistance to UW-Fond du Lac students who might otherwise have difficulty in purchasing required books and academic supplies. Funding for the program is made possible through a generous gift from Judith Berger O’Brien to honor the memory of Joseph Berger Jr., who with his father Joseph Berger Sr., was instrumental in the establishment of the Fond du Lac campus.

Berger Book Bag Grant application plus additional information also may be found  online or by calling the UW-Fond du Lac Foundation at (920) 929-1335.
