When UW Oshkosh track and field assistant coach Mary Theisen-Lappen isn’t coaching her Titan athletes, she is putting in the hours training herself as a professional weightlifter.

 

The dedication she shows has helped empower and inspire her athletes.

 

Theisen-Lappen next competes Oct. 26 in Niles, Illinois at the American Weightlifting Championships and on Dec. 8 in Salt Lake, Utah at the American Open Finals.
