The recent UW-Fond du Lac Falcon Classic Golf Outing featured a strong number of golfers and concluded with two Hall of Fame inductions.
Athletic Director Jeremiah Hoffmann said he was pleased with the number of participants and the support they provide for collegiate athletic programs at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, Fond du Lac campus.
The Fond du Lac campus college athletics program and the UW-Fond du Lac Foundation were co-sponsors of the event.
“We had 45 golfers, including Chancellor (Andrew) Leavitt,” said Barb Senn, foundation executive director, about the event in its third year.
Bernie Jones and Scott Wittchow were inducted posthumously into the UWFDL Athletic Hall of Fame in a banquet that followed golfing at South Hills Golf and Country Club in Fond du Lac.
