The greater Oshkosh community started St. Patrick’s Day on the right foot at the 12th-annual Fun Run/Walk 5K hosted by UW Oshkosh’s Student Recreation and Wellness Center.
The UW Oshkosh athletics department held its 27th-annual Final Four Extravaganza Party fundraiser in April to watch the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship Game and support the Titan athletics.
UW Oshkosh Alumni Relations held a special Almost Alumni Breakfast in March for graduating seniors from the College of Education and Human Services who spend their last semester student teaching.

Milwaukee area alumni celebrated Titan pride at a reception hosted by Nancy Korom ‘84, chief nursing officer and vice president at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, and John Korom at their art gallery, Gallery 2622 in Wauwatosa.
UW Oshkosh Steelband founder Jeanine Remy, who now serves as a senior lecturer at the University of the West Indies in Trinidad, returned to campus in the spring as a special guest performer at a Titan Steel Alumni Concert hosted by the music department.
In April, the campus community celebrated the achievements of students who have demonstrated excellence, strong character, leadership and commitment to serving the community.
For the 26th year, outstanding Wisconsin nurses were honored in April by the UWO College of Nursing and the College of Nursing Board of Visitors.
Former Wisconsin Gov. Martin J. Schreiber shared lessons from his book My Two Elaines about his decade-plus journey as a caregiver for his wife, Elaine, who lives with Alzheimer’s disease. The program was presented in partnership with UWO Alumni Relations and the Alzheimer’s Association.
Students enjoyed free food, music, games and prizes in May at the spring picnic, one of the longest-running traditions on the UW Oshkosh Fox Cities campus.
Alumni got together in May to celebrate the 35th Model United Nations reunion and the team’s long-standing tradition of excellence.
