Since it actually takes the Earth 365.2422 days—not the rounded off 365 days—to complete a full trip around the Sun, calendars play catch up every four years with a 29th day added to February.

This year, Leap Day (Feb. 29) falls on a Saturday. We think that offers the perfect opportunity for University of Wisconsin Oshkosh students to try something new on our campuses or explore the greater community.

The Oshkosh Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) staff agree.

“Locals and visitors of all ages can actually find great attractions, shopping, restaurants and events all year round in Oshkosh,” said CVB marketing manager Justin DeJager. “No matter what the season, Oshkosh is always welcoming and ready to entertain.”
