The following Class Notes were received recently in the UW Oshkosh Alumni Office:

’64 Stephen Thompson (EHS), of Copley, Ohio, is a professor emeritus in the University of Akron’s College of Education. Thompson is leading a book club, volunteering as hospice visitor, working on a community garden, and singing in a hospitality choir. He enjoys traveling and spending time with his seven grandchildren.

’75 Richard Polenska (EHS), of Pardeeville, is retired following a 29-year career with the Madison Fire Department. Polenska is a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity and teaches bible study and classes at Columbia Correctional Institution.

’80 John Rocheleau (LS) and ’96 (MBA), and ’82 Mary Rocheleau (LS) of Venice, Florida, are retired. The Rocheleaus are snowbirds with homes in Venice and Green Bay. They enjoy traveling, reading and spending time at the beach.

’83 Barry Martzahl (B), of Green Bay, managing director of wealth management and institutional consulting director for Graystone Consulting, was named to Forbes magazine’s 2020 Best in-State Wealth Advisors.

’87 Frank Van Alstine (LS), of Merrill, retired from full-time teaching and substitutes in the Merrill Area Public Schools.

’89 John Williams (LS), of New Smyrna Beach, Florida, is a retired Lieutenant Colonel after over 30 years as an explosive ordnance disposal officer, an infantry officer, and Department of the Army civilian.  Williams had multiple deployments during Operation Desert Storm and the Iraq War. Williams and his wife, Heather, have been married 28 years and have two children.

’93 Lisa (Wolfgram) Philipp (LS), of Oshkosh, is an image assembly operator and graphic artist at RR Donnelley. Philipp and her husband, Paul, love to travel and plan to attend Octoberfest in Germany this fall.

’95 Rebecca Hart (LS), of Genoa City, is the marketing manager at DSI/Dynamatic, Inc. Hart will be leading all marketing efforts to include the website, print content, social media, video and photography production and co-branding.

‘95 Corry Lambie (EHS), of Marinette, is the superintendent and administrator of the Marinette School District. Lambie was formerly the quality assurance director of teaching and learning.

’99 Jammie Dennin (LS), of Oshkosh, celebrated 15 years as a senior claims examiner with Thrivent Financial.

’00 Timothy Eiring (B), of Oconomowoc, is CEO of Centare, a development and technology consulting firm. Eiring was formerly the vice president of Centare’s Madison office and has been with the company since 2003.

’00 Kelly (Horkan) Clussman (LS), of Appleton, is the vice president of marketing at Unison Credit Union. Clussman was formerly the 12-year executive director of the Heart of the Valley Chamber of Commerce.

’01 Jeffrey Coyle (LS), of Bend, Oregon, is the corporate director of food and beverage at Oxford Collection. Coyle oversees 16 hotel food and beverage operations in Oregon, Washington, Idaho and California.

’04 Jennifer (Goyke) Johnson (EHS) and ’06 (MSE), of Waupun, a teacher for 16 years, is a special education instructional coach with the Fond du Lac School District. Johnson and husband ’11 Jeremiah Johnson (EHS) met in Donner Hall and have two children.

’04 Heather Wegner (EHS), of Brandon, has been the director at Spillman Public Library in North Fond du Lac for 12 years.

’05 Holly (Gerstner) Norris (LS), of Pleasant Prairie, is the head athletic trainer for the U.S. Navy. Norris had her first child in December.

’05 Christa (Boettcher) Vanderheiden (B), of Neenah, is a core renewal underwriter with Guardian Life Insurance where she serves as a mentor to newly-hired employees and interns. She and husband ’05 Daniel Vanderheiden (LS) and ’14 (N), have two children.

‘07 Derek O’Connell (LS), of Kenosha, is a dentist at Fahey & O’Connell Family Dentistry and Orthodontics. O’Connell formerly served his country as a general dentist with the U.S. Army.

’11 Deseray Aguirre (LS), of Quincy, Illinois, is a fourth-year medical student at A.T. Still University, Kirksville, Missouri (ATSU-KCOM) where she will graduate with a Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine in May.

‘11 Heather Barkholtz (LS), of Sun Prairie, is a chemical testing section chief with the Wisconsin State Patrol.

’11 Katelyn (Vroman) Spanbauer (B), of Omro, is a human resources generalist for SMC Metal Fabricators. Spanbauer also coaches high school volleyball in Oshkosh and is the president of the Oshkosh Area Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) chapter.

’11 Natalee (Kasmiskie) Stafford (EHS), of Indianapolis, Indiana, is the director of volunteer services at Wheeler Mission, Indiana’s largest homeless shelter.

’12 Anthony “Tony” Seashore (B), of Menasha, is president of Schaper, Benz & Wise Investment Counsel. Seashore joined the firm in 2012.

’13 JanaLee Bodoh (LS), of Weyauwega, works for von Briesen & Roper law firm’s Appleton office. Bodoh has a 7-month old child and three step-children.

’13 Brittany (Lemmenes) Buss (EHS), of Kaukauna, is a secondary education and English teacher in the Winneconne Community School District.

’13 Dana Wielgus (EHS), of Lille, France, is an English literature and language teacher at Ecole Jeannine Manuel in Marcq-en-Baroeul. Wielgus moved abroad in 2013 to teach with the Teaching Assistant Program in France (TAPIF).

‘15 Pamela Berg (MS), of Peshtigo, was a finalist for the 2020 Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction’s Principal of the Year Award. Berg is the 5K-12 principal in the Suring School District.

’16 Courtney (Harrington) Martin (LS), of Saginaw, Texas, graduated with a master’s degree in occupational therapy from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. Martin works with individuals who are recovering from acquired brain injuries at Pate Rehabilitation.

’17 Alexandra Licari (LS), of Madison, is a social worker for the 4K program in the Janesville School District. Licari earned a master’s degree in social work from the University of Wisconsin.

’20 Peyton Peterson (B), of Pewaukee, is a project engineer at Beeler Construction, Inc.
