‘61 Erwin Teichmiller (EHS), of Arbor Vitae, is presenting to the Christianity in the Comparative Religion class at Fe University in Iron County. Teichmiller is a graduate of Garrett Theological Seminary-Evanston and has served Methodist churches in Pickett, Rosendale, Kenosha, Minocqua and Mercer.

’68 Judith (Dahlke) Urbanek (EHS), of Wausau, teaches French to young men preparing to attend the Institute of Christ the King Sovereign Priest, a seminary outside Florence, Italy.

’69 Susan (Belter) Hanson (EHS), of Urbandale, Iowa, retired from teaching in 2012 after a 43-year career in education. Hanson has been married 51 years and continues to work with K-5 students in her retirement.

’70 Nancy More (EHS), of Lomira, co-authored From Inside the Heart-The Golden Years of Heart Surgery, a book dedicated to the surgeons who pioneered the revolution of heart surgery and lifesaving cardiac operations from 1975-2005.

‘70 Heather Williams (LS), of Madison, teaches an online Zoom class called Drawing as a Sacred Activity.

’72 James Jossie (LS), of Mequon, recently retired. He had a 30-year career with M&I Data Services/Metavante in Milwaukee, worked as a private consultant and as a manager in the marine department at Cabela’s in Richfield. Jossie and his wife, Teresa, will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary in November.

‘72 James Nostrant (LS), of Stanwood, Michigan, has been an active sports announcer since 1972, covering high school, college and professional sporting events. Nostrant is 28 games shy of working 1,500 events.

‘73 William “Bill” Censky (B) and ‘80 (MBA), of Manitowoc, retired as co-founder, former president, CEO and chairman of the board of Investors Community Bank after a 50-year career.

‘77 Mary Sobralske (N) and ‘82 (MSN), of Greenacres, Washington, has had a long nursing career including several mission trips to Ecuador, India, Thailand and Kenya. In 2016, Sobralske helped start a school for deaf children in Kenya named in honor of her mother.

’78 Cynthia Johnson (MS), of Baileys Harbor, is Peninsula Poetry’s October featured poet. Johnson published A Theophany, Please and The Way Crows Really Fly. Johnson has a Master of Divinity and served Unitarian Universalist congregations in Texas and Oklahoma before moving to Door County.

‘80 Henri Moreau (LS), of Vancouver, Washington, is a financial advisor with UBS Financial Services in Portland, Oregon. Moreau is active with non-profit organizations in his community of 30 years.

‘89 Lisa (Reilly) Spadoni (B), of Madison, is a financial planner with Goldstein Advisors. Spadoni’s son, Matthew, is also pursuing a business degree and playing football at UWO.

‘91 Brenda (Johnson) Ehlert (LS), of Waupun, received the 2020 Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology (APIC) Heroes of Infection Prevention Award. Ehlert is the director of infection prevention at Ascension Wisconsin.

’91 Paul Leverenz (EHS), of New Holstein, is president and CEO of Easterseals Wisconsin. Leverenz formerly served ten years as director of the Easterseals Wisconsin FARM program before becoming vice president of FARM and Vocational Services for 18 years.

Lorrie and Jack Heinemann

’92 Lorrie Heinemann (MBA), of Waunakee, received the 2020 Wisconsin Technology Council’s Excellence in Entrepreneurial Education Award which highlights the importance of teaching and mentoring entrepreneurs. Heinemann is the president and CEO of Madison Development Corporation and formerly secretary of the State Department of Financial Institutions. Heinemann has been married to ‘93 Jack Heinemann (MBA) for 32 years. They have four daughters.

‘93 Todd Lowe (LS), of Oshkosh, is a financial guide for The VanderBloemen Group in Fond du Lac. Lowe was formerly an advisor at Edward Jones in Mayville.

‘93 Shelley Peterson (EHS) and ‘99 (MSE), of Winneconne, is a seventh grade language arts and social studies teacher at Greenville Middle School.

‘96 Jennifer (Hanson) Harper (EHS) and ‘98 (EHS), of Green Bay, is married to ‘98 David Harper (EHS).

‘96 Lisa (Croeker) Peters (LS) and ‘04 (MSE), of Neenah, is an intake specialist at Rawhide Youth Services. Peters has experience as a county crisis worker, alcohol and other drug abuse prevention coordinator, police office worker and school counselor.

‘98 Jennifer (Karisny) McGinnis (MS), of Appleton, is a third grade literacy teacher in the Kimberly Area School District.

’00 Scott Sabel (LS), of Fond du Lac, is a teacher in the Chilton School District. Sabel formerly worked 17 years as a computer cartographer for Weather Central in Madison.

‘06 Sunny Churchill (EHS), of Kaukauna, is a ninth grade English and tenth grade advanced English teacher in the Kimberly Area School District.

‘06 Leif Larson (LS), of Oshkosh, designed and painted a mural on the side of the Antiques on Main building in downtown Waupaca. Larson sells his art throughout the country, teaches at the Trout Museum of Art in Appleton, does commissioned work including canvas paintings and portraits as well as live paintings at weddings and receptions.

‘06 Jessica (Linberts) Vander Zanden (LS), of Oshkosh, is a recipient of the Fox Cities Chamber Future 15 Award, given to young professionals who serve in a variety of professional and philanthropic roles in the community. Vander Zanden is the vice president of compliance and audit with Network Health.

‘07 Liz (Dagel) Kiley (EHS), of Monroe, is a 4th grade teacher in the Monroe School District.

‘08 Kurt Breier (EHS), of Oakfield, is a Cooperative Academic Partnership Program (CAPP) Chemistry teacher in the Waupun Area School District. Breier is married to ‘06 Lindsay Schumacher (EHS), ‘10 (MSE).

‘10 Daniel Mahn (EHS) and ‘10 (LS), of Middleton, is nominated for the 2021 Herb Kohl Teacher Fellowship Award. Mahn is a math teacher and math team advisor at Westfield High School.

‘12 Matt Busch (LS), of Appleton, is a recipient of the Fox Cities Chamber Future 15 Award, given to young professionals who serve in a variety of professional and philanthropic roles in the community. Busch is a community-based service manager with Valley Packaging Industries.

‘13 Jake Henning (B), of Bristol, married Emily Birch in July. Henning is employed by Uline in Pleasant Prairie.

‘14 Liz (Cookle) Wollenberg (EHS), of Kaukauna, is a recipient of the Fox Cities Chamber Future 15 Award, given to young professionals who serve in a variety of professional and philanthropic roles in the community. Wollenberg is the donor relations manager at Feeding America Northeast Wisconsin.

‘15 Irineo Medina (LS), of Kaukauna, is a recipient of the Fox Cities Chamber Future 15 Award, given to young professionals who serve in a variety of professional and philanthropic roles in the community. Medina is the Scholars on Target to Achieve Results (STAR) Coordinator at the Boys & Girls Club of the Fox Valley.

‘15 Lindsay (Broeckman) Prowls (EHS), of Manitowoc, is a special education teacher at Monroe Elementary School in the Manitowoc Public School District.

‘16 Ignacio Enriquez Jr. (MSE), of Appleton, is a recipient of the Fox Cities Chamber Future 15 Award, given to young professionals who serve in a variety of professional and philanthropic roles in the community. Enriquez is a behavioral health officer with the Appleton Police Department.

‘17 Evan Freimuth (B), of Appleton, is a recipient of the Fox Cities Chamber Future 15 Award, given to young professionals who serve in a variety of professional and philanthropic roles in the community. Freimuth is a founder and content specialist at Venture Wisconsin.

‘17 Taylor (Harn) Kimmes (B), of Salem, Oregon, is a human resource and safety coordinator for Forest River, Inc. Kimmes and her husband, Jonah, enjoy living in the Pacific Northwest.

‘17 Kayla Newman (MSE), of Butte des Morts, is a school counselor at Westside Elementary School in the Kimberly Area School District.

‘18 Anamarisa Haefs (EHS), of Kaukauna, is a second grade literacy teacher in the Kimberly Area School District.

‘18 Hunter Hart (LS), of Tomah, owns Hartwoods Custom Woodworking LLC.

‘18 Maxwell Hauser (LS), of Iola, is a professional independent filmmaker. Hauser mentored Gavin Connell, a senior at Winneconne High School, in the Wega Arts workshop. Connell’s Small Talk script won first place in the competition.

‘18 Megan Smith (B), of Dahlonega, Georgia, is a marketing analyst with MARS Solutions Group.

‘19 Mason Berndt (LS), of Ellensburg, Washington, is pursuing an Education Specialist Degree (EdS) at Central Washington University.

‘19 Ryan Vang (N), of Somerset, is the Somerset School District nurse.

‘20 Andrea Diamond (MSE), of Combined Locks, is a school counselor at JR Gerritts Middle School in the Kimberly Area School District.

‘20 Leslie Friebel (EHS), of Kimberly, is a third grade teacher at Westside Elementary in the Kimberly Area School District.

‘20 Thomas Nygard (EHS), of Appleton, is an English teacher at Kimberly High School.

‘20 Abby (Kuehl) Reich (LS), of De Pere, is a marketing coordinator at H.J. Martin and Son and Martin Communications.

‘20 Dylan Ringer (EHS), of Sayner, is a physical education teacher at Osceola High School. Ringer previously served in the U.S. Navy.

‘20 Shay Sullivan (EHS), of Appleton, is a fourth grade teacher at Woodland Elementary School in the Kimberly Area School District. Sullivan is also the freshman volleyball coach.
