The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh and the UWO Foundation announced the launch of the Titans Helping Titans year-end campaign—an initiative created to provide instant resources for its promising students and help them continue on their path to graduation.

“As a new year approaches, we’ve reflected on what we have been grateful for during this most unexpected 2020. On the top of that list is the continued friendship and support of the donors of UWO,” said UWO Foundation executive director Greg Giles. “The generosity of our donors over the years has allowed the next generation of UWO students to thrive and make a significant impact on their community. We are hopeful the support continues into the new year and beyond.”
As donors plan their end-of-year giving, they are asked to consider making a tax-deductible charitable donation to help support UWO students as they continue to forge ahead during these uncertain times.
Donors can support one of the funds below:
- Titan Memorial Scholarship: Awarded to undergraduate students who have extreme financial need and are in need of financial support to continue their education at UW Oshkosh. This award would be available immediately and is given to students facing unexpected situations. The assistance may prevent them from withdrawing due to financial reasons or help them pay their account balances so that they are able to register for classes.
- The Cabinet: UWO’s on-campus free food pantry. Funds raised will go towards the purchase of food that will benefit the students on Oshkosh’s campus.
- UW Oshkosh Fund: An unrestricted fund used for the greatest needs of the University.
“We know there are still immediate needs for our students and support to the Titan Memorial Scholarship, The Cabinet and the UW Oshkosh Fund will have an instant and immense impact on our Titans,” Giles said.
