2021 marks the 150th year of UW Oshkosh—and we would love for Titan alumni to join the celebration.

The UWO alumni relations office, in conjunction with Sesquicentennial Committee member Grace Lim, is putting together an exhibit showcasing alumni photo re-creations from their time on campus. If you are an UWO graduate and have a favorite photo from when you attended UWO, you can re-create it in the present and submit them both to be showcased.

The favorite photo from campus doesn’t need to be re-created on campus and it doesn’t need to be fancy. Were you in front of a tree? Go outside your home and snap the same picture in front of a tree. Is it a picture with your spouse from when you first started dating or a picture with your roommates? Grab a selfie with them now. Or were you playing baseball like Terry Jorgensen ’98, (BSE)? Head to your local ball field and snap a photo.

“Each UWO graduate has their own unique UWO story, and I encourage you to join in this historic 150th milestone by sharing yours via the Then &  Now photography project,” Alumni Director Christine Gantner said. “Celebrate your place in Titan history today!”

Along with being showcased in the exhibit during the 150th community picnic in September, the submitted photos will be promoted on the UWO alumni social media accounts and on the University’s website.
