The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh College of Nursing and Board of Visitors will recognize several outstanding nurses and nurse leaders during a virtual Nightingale Awards Celebration at 7 p.m. April 15.
The purpose of the event is to honor nurses involved in direct patient care who exemplify the highest standards of nursing practice as well as the nurse leaders who facilitate that care.
Usually taking place in person, the Nightingale Awards will be held virtually to protect the health and safety of all. Winners of the Nightingale Award for Excellence in Nursing Practice and the Nightingale Award for Nurse Leaders will be announced during the event. The Nightingale scholarship winners will also be recognized.
