Mark your calendar. You don’t want to miss this special day.

On Sept. 12—the 150th anniversary of the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh’s first day of classes—the UWO community will celebrate our long history of excellence and opportunity and build for tomorrow with a University-wide Giving Day.

UWO invites the Titan community to be part of this special day by wearing black and gold, attending the Sesquicentennial Community Celebration, spreading the word on social media using #Give150, and donating to the Give 150 Fund—or whatever area you are most passionate about.

The Give 150 fund will benefit:

  • Student academic, research and professional pursuits
  • University efforts in the areas of sustainability, social justice and economic security
  • Campus environment and student experience

The 24-hour goal for the Sesquicentennial Giving Day is $150,000. Titan grad Jerry Gonyo ’64, has already dedicated $50,000 to challenge others to give on Giving Day.

You don’t need to wait until Sept. 12 to give. All gifts made ahead of the day will count toward the goal of $150,000 in honor of our University’s 150th.

For more information on Giving Day, visit here or give below. Any gift is appreciated, no matter the size.

Please ask your human resources department if your employer has a matching gift program. Please contact foundation@uwosh.edu for additional information. A Blackbaud Merchant Services processing fee of 2.798% and a transaction fee of $0.26 will be deducted from your donation.
