The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh announced Thursday that 61% of its students are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
UW Oshkosh continues to reach out to students to encourage them to get vaccinated. UWO and its three campuses are participating in the Vax Up 70 for 70 campaign hosted by UW System. When 70% of UWO students are vaccinated, UW System will provide the University with several $7,000 scholarships for eligible students.
UWO also is offering fully vaccinated students an opportunity to receive one of 10 $1,000 scholarships. Both campaigns end Oct. 15.
