’53 Richard Smith (EHS), of Bradenton, Florida, released Brain Exercises for Older Adults, a collection of poems and short stories meant to promote brain exercise and creative thinking for older adults. Brain Exercises for Older Adults is Smith’s fourth book.
’75 Janice Dinerstien (N), of Roswell, Georgia, is enjoying retirement after a long career as a Lieutenant Colonel in both the United States Air Force Nurse Corps and the civilian medical field as a registered nurse.
’76 Greg Boldt (B), of Oshkosh, received Spectrum’s 2021 Top Regional Spectrum Mobile Master Award from over 100 business executive candidates. Boldt is married to alumna ’79 Connie Boldt (N).
’89 Todd Schulz (LS), of Fort Atkinson, retired after a 32-year career with the Fort Atkinson Police Department. Schulz climbed the ranks from patrol officer to drug task force detective, lieutenant and captain.
’92 Thomas Wissink (EHS), of New Richmond, is the incoming district administrator for the Campbellsport School District. Wissink is currently the New Richmond High School principal.
’95 Jessica (Johnson) Miller (LS), of Oshkosh, is the executive director of the Oshkosh Humane Society after nearly 30 years of involvement with the organization.
’95 Michael Sereno (EHS), of Waukesha, is the incoming superintendent of the Oconomowoc Area School District. Sereno is currently the Elmbrook School District’s assistant superintendent for teaching and learning.
’98 Greg Hartjes (MS), of Appleton, is the incoming superintendent of the Appleton Area School District. Since 2017, Hartjes has served as the District’s chief financial officer and previously as principal of Appleton West High School.
’02 Amy Uelmen (MS), of Pulaski, received the Wisconsin Educational Media and Technology Association’s Professional of the Year Award for her work as the Pulaski School District’s director of instructional technology.

’05 Melissa Hunt (LS), of Verona, was named one of In Business Magazine’s Class of 2022 “40 under 40”, which recognizes 40 of the most successful and civic-minded young professionals under the age of 40. Hunt is a municipal services manager at Vierbicher and serves on the UWO Alumni Association Board of Directors.
’05 Michael Raymond (N) and ’16 (LS), of Oshkosh, is co-creating Oshki-Anishinaabeg, also known as The New Natives, a documentary series based on modern Native Americans in the Lakeland area. Raymond is a multimedia journalist, videographer and photographer.
’05 Neil Riegelman (B), of Brookfield, received the Milwaukee Business Journal’s 40 under 40 Award in 2020. Riegelman is the managing director and team lead for BMO Harris Commercial Banking and serves on the boards of the Milwaukee Ballet, Discovery World and Ducks Unlimited of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Chapter. Riegelman is married to alumna ’06 Erica (Phansalkar) Riegelman (B).
’12 Jill Jensen (MSE), of Berlin, a middle school language arts and reading specialist, was recognized as one of the top three teachers in the United States to win the Catholic Life Financial Give Back Contest, awarded to educators who make a positive difference in the lives of students in Catholic education.
’12 Steve Schendt (EHS), of Green Bay, is the director of programs at the Salvation Army’s Green Bay Kroc Community Center. Schendt is working towards a masters degree in sports management.

’15 Adam BellCorelli (MPA), of Oshkosh, is celebrating two years with the East Central Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission, where he is a transportation planner.
’15 Alexandria (Oemig) Black (LS) and ’19 (LS), of Oshkosh, is a volunteer coordinator and victim advocate at Reach Counseling in Neenah. Black is in a professional counseling graduate program with a clinical mental health emphasis.
’16 Christiana (Gorchynsky) Trapani (LS), of Egg Harbor, owner of Door County Candle Company, has sold over 7,500 blue and yellow candles and has raised over $100,000 in support of the people of Ukraine. Trapani is a second-generation Ukrainian-American.
’19 Karly Curtin (LS), of Shawano, is the marketing and promotions manager for the Shawano Speedway and Shawano County Fairgrounds.
’20 Rachel Grose (MPA), of Oshkosh, is the assistant bursar at UW Oshkosh. Grose and her husband recently had their first child.
