Students fall to the ground, one by one, and are traced in chalk outside of Polk Library, representing the estimated 480 people who die from lung cancer in one day in the U.S., as part for the Great American Smokeout Nov. 20. Additionally, 480 mock headstones were planted in front of Dempsey Hall, a display in Reeve Memorial Union contained information on the dangers of smoking and being exposed to secondhand smoke and a “Wii Don’t Smoke” event was scheduled from 4 to 8 p.m. in Titan Underground.
