Since February, faculty and staff from across campus have gathered on Wednesdays for an informal lunch to discuss issues related to sustainability, considered one of the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh’s foundational elements.

Laura Hartman, an assistant professor of environmental studies, began and led the weekly meet-ups in Sage Hall throughout the spring semester. The effort is endorsed by the Sustainability Institute for Regional Transformations.

This week, UWO Sustainability Coordinator Bradley Spanbauer took over for summer interim, moving the gathering to the Outdoor Classroom in Shapiro Park, located on the river near the Environmental Research and Innovation Center.
