OPEN TO THE PUBLIC

MISSION: This dinner honors the courage and spirit of Harvey Milk, whose activism set an example of the crucial connection between education and social change. This event is a way to encourage and support all members and allies of the LGBTQ+ community at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh and in the Greater Fox Valley.

VISION: Our goal is to raise awareness and provide scholarships for both LGBTQ+ students at UW Oshkosh and LGBTQ+ high school students in the Fox Valley. We also offer financial assistance towards projects that are dedicated to improving the climate in Fox Valley’s K-12 systems. Through education, volunteerism and service, the Harvey Milk Commemorative Dinner Committee will serve the surrounding communities as a positive force for dignity and recognition.
