Please join us to experience Korean drumming by the Global Pungmul Institute. Pungmul is a Korean folk music tradition, involving drumming, dancing and singing. Drumming is the central element of pungmul with four main percussion instruments. Four drummers will perform three traditional drumming pieces and then the audience will have an opportunity to join a hands-on workshop to learn Korean drums. This event is sponsored by the Asian Student Association, Hmong Student Union and Reeve Union.
