Remedy Drive Human Trafficking Impact Event
April 1 @ 8:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Free
Known today as “modern-day slavery,” human trafficking is the illegal trade of human beings through recruitment or abduction. Remedy Drive is an American alternative rock band based in Nashville, Tennessee that seeks to counter this problem. The frontman of the band, David Zach, is a volunteer undercover operative with Exodus Road, an anti-human trafficking organization focused on freeing children and adults who have been victims of trafficking. Over 1,500 victims have been rescued and over 700 traffickers have been arrested. Join us as we hear from the band about the ways Exodus Road is combating trafficking and enjoy a concert of their music. Sponsored by the UWO Campus Ministries (Chi Alpha, Cru, His House, and InterVarsity) and Portico Church.
