Topic: Understanding and Managing Conflict in Family Enterprise

Presenter:  Doug Baumoel, MBA, Continuity LLC

Description:  Conflict eventually challenges all families and becomes even more likely and often far more destructive when shared wealth or management of a family business is involved.  Doug Baumoel, founder of Continuity Family Business Consulting and co-author of Deconstructing Conflict: Understanding Family Business, Shared Wealth and Power, will lead an afternoon presentation and training on family business conflict. Doug will present his personal story of conflict in his second generation industrial products manufacturing business, and how he took the lessons learned from that experience to develop a new understanding of this type of conflict and a unique and effective method for its management.
