“The Global Social Injustice of Human Sex Trafficking”

April 15, 2015 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Human sex trafficking is of the top three most common and growing forms of trafficking world-wide. This presentation will cover the global issue both on a broad level in explaining what it is and how serious it is, as well as touch on areas from Beijing to as close as here in Oshkosh where we see (or don’t see) this injustice occurring. Increasing education on the topic is very important and helps us to understand the severity of an issue we can all address in one way or another. This presentation provided by Social Justice Minor Program Capstone students, Emily Annoye and Alicia Klein.
