The Pianist

FreeHistory Movie Club showing of The Pianist.
The Pianist is based on the story of Wladyslaw Szpilman, a well-known Polish Jewish pianist. Szpilman was forced into the Warsaw Ghetto, and later separated from his family during Operation Reinhard. From this time until the end of the war, Szpilman went into hiding and witnessed the horrors of Nazi occupation, violence and murder.
This event is free and open to the public.
