Titans on the Go Orientation

August 31 @ 1:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Free

Titans on the Go is an orientation program for the Division of Academic Support of Inclusive Excellence that welcomes first-year multicultural students to the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. The orientation is designed to quickly immerse students into the campus community and take advantage of all the opportunities afforded to them through the academic year.

The academic calendar begins with move-in day for all first-year students on Sunday, Sept. 1, 2019. However, we are offering a select group of students a jump-start to their academic careers with the Titans on the Go program scheduled on Saturday, August 31, 2019. This initiative is planned for African American, American Indian, Hispanic/Latino, and Hmong/Asian students. The move-in time for this program is from 11 a.m.–1 p.m. with the program starting immediately at 1:30 p.m. Alphonso Simpson Jr, African American Studies program director, will present “Stand Up and Be Counted.”
