Committee Chairs/Paid Assistants

Committee Chairs represent the bread and butter of USRH. In all we have 6 standing committees that provide a variety of services and activities to students living in the residence halls. Our Paid Assistant offers a variety of different services to both the average student and to members of USRH.

Committee Assistants

The Constitution committee looks for ways to improve the USRH Constitution. This is done by looking through the constitution for inconsistencies, grammatical errors, and items that need to be updated. A monthly meeting is held  to address items that other members feel need to be amended. During the spring semester, they run the executive board elections.

The Food Committee Chair acts as the student’s voice regarding issues and concerns about food venues on campus, meal plans, and looks for ways to improve them. This committee provides communication between the students and University Dining. Meetings are held bi-weekly in Blackhawk Commons with a meal provided.

Leadership Development (Spring Only)

LDC facilitates the selection of the following awards: Tyler Feldkamp Leadership Award, Katie Kaczorowski Leadership Award, One Small Step Leadership Award, and Rob Buzaitis Leadership Award.

The Programs Committee creates and supports programs for everyone on campus. They plan After Dark, USRH’s version of December Titan Night, and are in charge of organizing USRH’s team for Hands on Oshkosh every Fall and Spring. Programs also assists in planning the Spring Banquet for Residence Life.

Safety and Security

The Safety and Security Committee gathers student feedback on safety and enforcement agencies. They work with the Community Service Officers (CSOs), Campus Police, and the Safewalk program.
