University Staff Senate
The University Staff Senate is a collective voice for administrative and professional workers of the university staff on campus. We support a variety of activities and initiatives to improve the quality of life and effectiveness of the university’s dedicated and valuable staff. It’s never too late to get involved!
At their April 20, 2016 meeting Council voted to approve their name change from a Council to a Senate, to be consistent with the other governance groups.
OPEN FORUM SCHEDULED:
The University Staff Senate is hosting a campus-wide forum to collect feedback regarding the Shared Governance Participation Policy for university staff employees. The forum is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2017 from 12-1:30 p.m. in Reeve 227A. We encourage all employees to attend who may have questions on the policy/procedures of allowing university staff to participate in shared governance activities. If you are unable to make the open forum, feel free to look at the draft and email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with your suggestions or questions.
