The Fond du Lac Area

Fond du Lac is an exciting mid-size city at the foot of Lake Winnebago, Wisconsin’s largest inland lake. With a population of approximately 41,000 the city of Fond du Lac is just an hour from the largest cities in the state – Milwaukee, Madison and Green Bay. 

Five major highways and an excellent system of county roads lead into Fond du Lac providing convenient access to the Fond du Lac campus of UW Oshkosh.

Lake Winnebago influences the character of Fond du Lac recreation. The city’s 400-acre Lakeside Park is its centerpiece, a place where families can enjoy the great outdoors to the utmost and where boats, marinas and fishing are a central theme.
