Discover your veterans education benefits.

Veterans and certain eligible spouses and dependents may be entitled to educational benefits under various programs administered by the Veterans Administration.

Veterans and eligible spouses and dependents may obtain these benefits while pursuing a degree at UW Oshkosh. Students enrolled under these programs must carry 12 credits during each semester of the academic year to be eligible for full-time allotments.

Summer session allotments are determined by class dates or length of class and number of credits.

Study Abroad

Do you or a family member utilize the WI GI Bill? If so, study abroad might be an option for you! For more information, contact the VRC. If you have any general study abroad questions, contact the Office of International Education.

Priority Registration

Veteran Priority Registration allows all current and prior service members of the U.S. military to receive the first enrollment appointments available for their academic class (senior, junior, etc.).

To activate Priority Registration, you must complete a Veteran Resources Orientation. Please contact the VRC to schedule a Veteran Resources Orientation. Phone and video appointments are available upon request.
