20 Years as Wisconsin’s Mineralogical Museum

In November of 2022, the Weis Museum celebrates its 20th Anniversary. This new exhibit highlights our collections and the people who helped build them.

Walk Through

Wisconsin’s Geologic Past

Walk through time with fossils from all of Wisconsin’s major geologic ages and explore the state’s mining history.

Temporary Exhibits

The Weis hosts numerous temporary displays throughout the year. Check back for updates on what is coming next!

“Animals Through Time” featuring the Dr, Bruce Danz Collection

One of the best dinosaur nests in any exhibit. Find a life-size skull replica of Stan, the Tyrannosaurus rex, a thigh bone of a duck-bill dinosaur that you can touch and a complete Psittacosaurus with stones in its gizzard – just like the birds.
