Sexual Violence Reporting Forms

Campus Clarity

What is Campus Clarity?

Campus Clarity offers students an innovative, engaging, and informative online training titled Think About It: Campus SaVE. This training will allow students to examine the interconnected issues of hooking up, substance abuse, sexual violence, and healthy relationships through a variety of interactive, realistic scenarios and guided self-reflection. The knowledge students gain from this training is crucial in promoting a healthier and safer campus environment for everyone.

Who must complete Campus Clarity?

Completion of the Think About It: Campus SaVE training is required for all students. Students will receive an email with instructions for completing the training within their first semester. All students are required to complete this training regardless of age, relationship status, undergraduate/graduate program status, or online/on-campus attendance.

Failure to complete the training will result in an academic hold placed on the student’s account – preventing them from registering for next semester’s courses.

Why must you complete Campus Clarity?

Completion of this training is required by federal law through Title IX and Section 304 of the Violence Against Women Reauthorization Act of 2013, and Wisconsin State Statute. The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh Policy, and University of Wisconsin System Policy state that “At a minimum, all students and employees will be required to complete the campus-supported on-line training covering issues of sexual violence and sexual harassment.” The Think About It: Campus SaVE training is our campus-supported online training.

How do you complete Campus Clarity?

You will receive emails from Campus Clarity inviting you to complete the Think About It: Campus SaVE training. You will receive a daily reminder email until you have completed the training. The emails will contain a direct link to the training.

What happens with the information Campus Clarity collects?

At different points in the training, you will notice that Campus Clarity asks you to share a little about yourself. Some of these questions are pretty personal. Campus Clarity asks these questions in order to better support students as they enter college. Your answers are 100% anonymous. You are invited to be completely honest, but if you are uncomfortable answering the questions, there is a “no comment” option for you to select.

You will also notice some short questions called “Insights.” After you answer an “Insights” question, you will see what percentage of students selected each answer. The “Insights” are a unique way to get a glimpse into how other students think and feel about the same tricky topics. Again, each “Insights” question will have a “no comment” option for you to select if you do not feel comfortable answering the questions.
