The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh Environmental Health and Safety Committee is dedicated to promoting healthy and safe environments for all persons of the UW Oshkosh campus community, by identifying and rectifying unsafe practices and conditions. Additionally, the Committee works to develop and implement policies designed to improve safe work procedures, increase campus awareness of health and safety issues, and reduce risk on campus.

The Environmental Health & Safety Manager co-chairs with a member appointed by the Administration. The committee is traditionally comprised of 2 Faculty, 2 Academic Staff, 3 University Staff, and 1 student. There are 4 Ex Officio members – The Chief Facilities Officer, one representative each from Residence Life and University Police Dept. leadership, and the Hazardous Materials & Chemical Hygiene Coordinator.

For the Spring Semester 2024, we will be meeting virtually the third Thursday of every month at 1pm.  If you would like more information, please contact Danielle Juan at juand@uwosh.edu
