Dr. Jennifer Szydlik is well known to many students in the Honors College for Honors 175: “Creativity” Seminar, the gateway course to the Honors curriculum she has co-taught with Dr. Ron Rindo from the English Department since 2015.

Dr. Szydlik will be the morning ceremony Commencement speaker on Saturday, May 12, at 9:00 a.m. at the Kolf Sports Center, where she will address students who are receiving degrees from the College of Letters and Science. Graduates and their guests are in for a treat, for this will no doubt be a talk that will inspire reflection and thoughtful conversation.

Szydlik is the recipient of the UW System Regents Award for Teaching Excellence, the UW Oshkosh Rosebush Professorship, and many other honors. She earned a bachelor’s degree from St. Cloud State University and master’s and doctorate degrees from UW Madison.
