Romeo Jackson, serves as the LGBTQ & Gender Program Coordinator at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas. Named one of the 100 Black and LGBT-SGL leaders to watch, Romeo is committed to uplifting and empowering queer and trans people of color through a critical black queer feminist lens.

1:00 pm – SUPPORTING QUEER AND TRANS STUDENTS OF COLOR
A discussion on how, particularly, faculty and staff can collaborate with queer and trans students of Color to create space that affirms, celebrates, and centers queer and trans students of Color.

7:00 pm – INTERSECTIONAL COALITION BUILDING

The session on Intersectional Coalition Building will discuss how to build a coalition between and within movements, without categorizing oppressions and further marginalizing folks within justice movements.
