We’ve been made aware of emails being sent to campus addresses with links that are most likely not safe to click on. The links vary, but the text looks like this:

Please delete any messages like this that you receive. The IT department is working on blocking malicious sources but it is a constantly changing target. If you clicked on a link like this, you should check your computer for viruses. For assistance, emailhelpdesk@uwosh.edu.

Throughout the semester we will share tips for safe computing, to keep your computers and your friends safe from malicious intent. For now, please be careful to delete emails that look odd or unexpected, do not reply to them or click links.
