MacBook Giveaway; Get Vax’d at Reeve
Dear UWO students,
Are you in need of a new laptop? How would you like a free MacBook?
We are giving away 2 MacBooks as part of our COVID-19 vaccination efforts.
All you have to do (or already have done) is get the COVID-19 vaccination and then fill out the campus vaccination form. Every student who has completed the required number of shots and fills out the form by June 15 will be automatically entered into the drawing. We also will be giving away a couple $25 gift cards to the UWO Bookstore.
Get Vax’d at Reeve Tuesday
This week we are making it easier than ever to get the vaccine.
A free walk-in clinic is set TOMORROW: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, May 11, at Reeve Union, Room 212AB, on the Oshkosh campus. There will be some free swag for those who get vaccinated that day.
If that doesn’t work for you, get your first dose of COVID-19 vaccine on the Oshkosh campus at the Culver Center, 625 Pearl Ave., during the following walk-in hours and days (these days/hours valid through Friday, May 14):
- 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays
- Noon to 5 p.m. Tuesdays, Thursdays
Free community walk-in clinics also are held 1 to 6 p.m. Wednesdays, at Sunnyview Expo Center, 500 E. County Road, Y, Oshkosh; offering the 1-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
Then visit https://www.vaccines.gov/ to find a convenient location to get your second dose. You don’t need to get your second dose where you received your first.
Beginning Monday, May 17, walk-in hours at the Culver vaccination site will be:
- 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Mondays
- Noon to 6 p.m. Tuesdays
- 9 to 11:30 a.m. Fridays
Once you are fully vaccinated please complete the COVID-19 vaccination report form on the Titans Return website. This will allow us to exempt you from COVID-19 testing and you’ll qualify for the free MacBook drawing. Achieving a high degree of vaccinations within our University community will help us continue to move our campuses toward normal operations.
The COVID-19 community testing site at Culver Family Welcome Center, 625 Pearl Ave., will close Friday, May 14. Testing ended May 5 on the Fox Cities campus and will end after the May 11 and 12 testing on the Fond du Lac campus.
Testing will continue at Albee on the Oshkosh campus with hours and days to be determined. For a list of testing sites in Wisconsin, visit the Wisconsin Department of Health Services website.
