The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh women’s volleyball team just keeps on winning.

The Titans moved to 29-0 on Wednesday with a sweep of UW-Platteville at Kolf Sports Center. The win secured at least a share of the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference regular season title and also tied the record for the best start to a season in program history, matching what the 2009 team accomplished on its way to a third place finish in the NCAA tournament.

UWO remained at No. 2 this week in the American Volleyball Coaches Association poll, behind only Juniata College. Juniata, the defending national champion, also is undefeated.

In the home win over UW-Platteville, junior Robyn Kirsch led the team with 10 kills. Sophomore Izzy Coon and senior Kalli Mau were the team leaders in assists at 22 and 13, respectively. Freshmen Sami Perlberg and Abby Fregien led the team in digs with nine and eight, respectively.

The Titans return to Kolf Sports Center on Tuesday for their final home match of the regular season and Senior Night. They face Alverno College at 7 p.m.
