University of Wisconsin Oshkosh students from any area of study have the opportunity to win $1,000 in just 90 seconds at the 2023 Elevator Pitch Contest Nov. 28 in Room 1239 of Sage Hall.
Pitches can vary from any new idea to an early-stage business concept in need of capital.
The application deadline is Nov. 19 for the low-barrier contest in a welcoming environment sponsored by UWO Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, the Collegiate Entrepreneurs’ Organization and the Wisconsin Small Business Development Center.
Participants will receive help crafting the perfect pitch before the event.
All students and faculty are encouraged to watch the competition and enjoy refreshments.
The grand prize winner will receives$1,000 in cash seed funding and guaranteed spot in the April 2024 Business Model Competition. Second and third place winners will receive $350 and $150, respectively.
