Todd J. Teske is being honored by the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh with a 2016 Business Achievement Award from Beta Gamma Sigma International Honor Society.
One of only three nationwide recipients this year of the Beta Gamma Sigma Business Achievement Award, Teske is CEO and president of Briggs & Stratton Corporation, the world’s largest producer of gasoline engines for outdoor power equipment. Headquartered in Milwaukee, Briggs & Stratton products are designed, manufactured, marketed and serviced in over 100 countries on six continents.
“Todd is an outstanding alumnus representative from UW Oshkosh College of Business, and very deserving of this prestigious award,” Scott Beyer, interim College of Business dean at UW Oshkosh, said. “In addition to serving on the Dean’s Advisory Council at the University, Todd has been a strong supporter of our programs and has been actively involved with our college. Todd’s wife, Kim, is also an alumna from UW Oshkosh and their daughter, Taylor, is currently attending UW Oshkosh College of Business.”
“We are pleased to present Todd J. Teske with the 2016 Beta Gamma Sigma Business Achievement Award. The award is presented annually to outstanding individuals who have earned significant achievements in business and the community while demonstrating ethical leadership that is consistent with the ideals of Beta Gamma Sigma,” said Christina Carosella, CEO of Beta Gamma Sigma, a global honor society, founded in 1913, that has inducted more than 775,000 students from more than 560 collegiate chapters around the world.
