The UW Oshkosh Titans invite the public to participate in a campaign to take down cancer this month.
Help the Titans support the cause by purchasing a “Think Pink” bracelet and ribbons at select home events in October. In conjunction with October being Breast Cancer Awareness month, all proceeds will be donated to The American Cancer Society. Student-athletes from football, volleyball and cross country will be sporting pink shoelaces and sweatbands at home events in October.
Women’s and men’s soccer are showing their support to Child Life of St. Vincent’s Hospital, a center devoted to supporting children and families affected by cancer. There will be a toy drive at all home soccer events in October to raise donations for children fighting cancer. A description of items needed can be found on the Child Life website.
